Our story


Chorus was formed through the amalgamation of three organisations, each working for the community, who held a shared belief things could be better. We knew it was time to shake things up. Time for a fresh approach. So we came together and formed Chorus.




Chorus supports people in their home and community, to live the life they choose. We support seniors, people living with disability and those in mental health recovery.

We have a team of more than 1000 staff and volunteers who walk alongside people to support their independence and enjoy life. We provide in-home and community support to more than 10,000 people across metro and regional WA.


This role


We’re looking for a Volunteer Coordinator who shares our passion for enabling people to live the life they choose and doing things differently, to join our team. We are open to a conversation about this being a permanent full-time or part-time position.

Your role will be integral to the ongoing success of our Volunteer services and supports and see you effectively contribute to a range of innovative projects including:

  • Supporting a ‘one Chorus Volunteering’ approach, across our 21 sites
  • Development and implementation of Volunteer plans, policies, procedures and strategies
  • Effective and efficient planning, coordination, recruitment, retention and support of Volunteers in to deliver fantastic community outcomes
  • Building and participating in creative event strategies in collaboration with our Marketing and Communications team
  • Support the implementation of Volunteer training and development strategies for volunteers

Success looks like this in a candidate

  • Professional and engaging interpersonal skills both written and verbal, to promote a positive customer service experience and support collaborative working relationships and culture
  • Advanced organisational skills
  • A high degree of drive, initiative and the capacity to deal with multiple projects and prioritise work effectively to meet deadlines
  • A process improvement orientation, with demonstrated experience in building and maintaining effective systems, policies and procedures
  • Strong administrative and computer literacy skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
